Dear Colleagues,

After a successful 1st meeting in May 2010, we have the pleasure to invite you to attend the 2nd International Meeting of Hypertension and Diabetes in Primary Care, co- organized by Primary Care Diabetes Europe – PCDE, the Turkish Family Medicine Training and Research Association – AHEAD and the European Primary Care Cardiovascular Society -  EPCCS which will take place between Aprıl 28th to 30th 2011 in Istanbul. This meeting enjoys the support of major professional organizations in the field.

The scope of the meeting  comprises a broad range of topics about aspects of Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus relevant for primary health care professionals from various disciplines and will present an opprotunity to share and discuss the latest state of the art knowledge on the field
The interdisciplinary scientific programme will feature keynote lectures, state of the art sessions and debates from international experts addressing topics such as health promotion, preventive care, therapeutic interventions, shared care and psychosocial aspects of these two prevalent and important chronic diseases. Participants will have the opportunity to present and share their research results during poster sessions.
